Disclosures

  1. The hypothetical backtested examples are provided as illustrative examples only and do not represent the performance of actual client portfolios.
  2. Hypothetical backtested performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below.
  3. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those discussed. In fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical backtested performance results and the actual performance results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program.
  4. One of the limitations of hypothetical backtested performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight.
  5. The hypothetical backtested performance which informs our expectations is based on the following assumptions:
    • The investable universe for the backtest includes 3000 most liquid US securities focused on the consumer staples and consumer discretionary sectors of all capital sizes.
    • The backtest presented may not include all the constituents of the aforementioned investable universe.
    • The performance shown is for the stated time period only.
    • Due to market volatility, each account's performance may be different.
    • The returns shown assume the reinvestment of dividends and other income.
    • The returns assume an account size of $10,000.
    • The returns are shown net of fees and do include the deduction of management fees and other brokerage expenses that may be incurred in managing a $10,000 investment account. No management fees are charged on the accounts.
    • The returns do not take into account slippage which may be incurred when actual investments are made.
  6. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk in actual trading. For example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results.
  7. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical backtested performance results and all of which can adversely affect actual trading results.
  8. The securities presented are intended to demonstrate the application of the investment strategy and do not constitute a representative list of all securities bought or sold during any time period.
  9. Our expected returns and expected volatility measures have been based on Delphia’s backtesting analysis. For the reasons noted above, there is no guarantee that actual returns will match our initial expectations regarding the fund’s returns or volatility measures. Expected returns will be modified based on actual experience.
